Motivational Monday | Lukewarm Is No Good

mm

This is a short but sweet Motivational Monday entry because the quote says it all. It’s important to be an enthusiast about life because what will having a glass-half-empty attitude achieve?

You don’t know how many more trips around the sun you have, so no matter what difficulties or problems you’re currently facing, sometimes you need to brush yourself off and make the most of what you do have.

Most importantly, if you have a dream, no matter how big or how small, how extreme or how realistic, then go at it full speed. What do you have to lose? Even if you find yourself failing along the way that only shows that you’re trying.

With every spare moment that you have, work towards your dream; take steps forward. Be resilient and persistent, everything that is gained or lost in the process is an experience.

If you have an interest or a hobby, nurture and grow it – this is what will make you an individual with a rainbow of colours to represent your talents and your knowledge.

…You should do this because lukewarm is no good, it’s time to ignite your fire.

What are you passionate about?

Adele, thank you for posting this. I totally feel this way about writing and my blog. I always think if I just keep writing it will mean something to someone. Even if i never get paid for it I will will always be a writer and that keeps me going when I get down about it.

Thank you for reading! I know how you feel, you should be doing something that you love first and foremost, you just don’t know where that might lead or who it might impact along the way but at the very least you’re doing something for yourself. I’m a true believer of not just wishing for dreams but working for them, no matter how far out of reach they may seem 🙂

It’s funny, but when you think about it… we all seem to be afraid of something. But, fear of failure you would think would go against the grain. We’re always being told in school not to be afraid of failure, as that is how we all learn. But, even there, if a teacher was not critical of you answering wrong, usually there was a fellow student who was critical. Maybe in there—that classroom—maybe that’s where that kind of fear took root in many of our consciousnesses. Here is to passion for what we love, eventually overcoming our feeble fears of what nourishes us. ;o)
