Fashion | The Best & Worst Dressed At The CFDA Awards

The annual CFDA awards recognises outstanding contributions that have been made to American fashion from all areas of the industry and the related arts, so I thought that it was only correct to review the wardrobe choices, selecting and sharing one of my ‘favourites’ and ‘least favourites’ from the red carpet this time around!

Gigi Hadid shone in her bronze-embellished, shimmery Michael Kors jumpsuit with 70’s style flared trousers, which flatteringly outlined her runway figure.

She kept her accessories to a minimum, teaming the outfit with an envelope clutch bag to compliment the look and her hair was naturally styled into gentle, tousled waves.

Her make-up consisted of a splash of silver eyeshadow, eyeliner that was winged to perfection and a pop of colour with rose tinted lips.

This was one of my favourite looks from the red carpet because it was dazzlingly unique and memorable. If the Charlie’s Angels were recruiting, Gigi would be top of the list!

Kim Kardashian stepped out on to the red carpet for the first time since announcing the news that she’s pregnant with baby number two!

Kim is renowned for wearing some interesting designs from time to time and, being quite the fashionista, she often does a very good job of making them work.

However, I had to wonder whether she had improvised with a shower curtain when she stepped out in this Proenza Schouler gown, which revealed her Bridget Jones style pants beneath the sheer material.

It has been reported that the feathered shoulders caught fire at the event, I can’t help but think that this incident was a result of someone trying to do her a favour.
