Whilst we know that candles are great all year round, there is nothing quite like striking your match and burning your favourites in Autumn/Winter. It means that you are invited in from the cold, dark evenings to a deliciously scented home, which instantly makes you feel warm.
I’ll admit, I’m a Yankee Candle addict because of their authentic, bold and unique range of scents. There are varying sizes available but, personally, I like to stock up on the Votive Samplers so that I can try as many varieties as possible. Then, if I really like a particular scent, I can repurchase it in a larger size.
Arguably, a house is not a home without a candle burning, so here are my top picks and recommendations from the Yankee Candle range this year:
What is your favourite festive scent?
Chocolate and coconut…I’m not sure it qualifies as festive for others but it does for me 🙂

A delicious combination, I love the smell of coconut! 🙂

my favourite festive scent has to be cinnamon, I love Yankee’s Sparkling Cinnamon/ Cinnamon Stick ranges! Christmas Eve and Christmas Cookie are two of my favourites too. Getting the smaller votive candles is a good idea, I usually get the wax melts so I can mix and match 🙂 x

I like the sound of Snow In Love and Christmas Cookie. Maybe I’ll have to look into some Yankee candles 😛

Ooh, you should! They always have a ‘Fragrance of the Month’ too, which offers the selected scent at a reduced price across the candle range, so it gives you an opportunity to try new ones out. 🙂

Love Yankee Candles. I like the Christmas tree one they sell. I can’t remember the name of it, but it’s wonderful.

There is one that’s actually called ‘Christmas Tree’, so that could be it 😉 It’s a very fresh pine scent; that’s one way of bringing the outdoors inside!

That must be it. For some reason I was thinking that it was Balsam Fir.

Have you tried Swan Creek soy candles? They’re very good, too.

I haven’t heard of those but now I MUST research! Thanks for the recommendation. Are you in the UK? I feel like I should know that already, I’m just wondering if it’s a brand that is over here.
