Blogmas #4 | Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar (Days 2-11)

I thought that I would update you on the products that I have received in the Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar since Day 1. I have thoroughly enjoyed opening the doors each day and I have been very happy with the products behind them. There is a really lovely mixture of nail polishes that are bright/pastel and glittered/non-glittered, as well as a few surprises!

Day 2: Pepperminty

Tingly fresh minty shade is a true ‘’It’’ colour and a must for summertime but is equally wearable in the winter months, I coated ‘Snow Fall’ from the Candy Cane House Gift Set, which is an iridescent shimmer with white glitter specks and my nails looking suitably snowy!

Day 3: Girl with a pearl

This was my first ‘surprise’ of the advent calendar as it isn’t actually a nail polish but rather it’s a bottle filled with varying sizes of pearls, which will be perfect for creating my own nail art. Very pretty!

Don’t be afraid to sparkle brighter.

Day 4: Chalkboard

On first impressions, I couldn’t imagine myself reaching for this nail polish all too often, as the name suggests it is a pure black. However, I’m now thinking that it would be a perfect foundation to showcase nail art designs or to pair with Day 9 (see below). Don’t judge a book by it’s cover!

Nails are the period at the end of the sentence. They complete the look.

Day 5: Need for tweed

Now we’re back to the sparkly polishes that turn me into the heart eyes emoji. This, again, appears to be a very versatile nail polish. It is an explosion of aqua, navy and a hint of lemon, which is quite summery but the texture also reminds me of Christmas tinsel.

I don’t like plain nails. I get sad.

Day 6: Runway ribbon

L-O-V-E. Not only is this nail polish shade my signature colour, it is also as sparkly as Dorothy’s slippers in The Wizard of Oz. It is actually a loose glitter, which is to be applied over the top of wet polish, I’ve never used a dry glitter before, so I’m really excited to see how it turns out!

Beauty should begin in the heart and soul, otherwise cosmetics are useless.

Day 7: Amazing gracie

This is the perfect ballet slipper pink shade, as you can see it is a super pale colour, which can be used to add shine to the nails or layer up to create a pinky tint. I think it would be a lovely addition to the classic French manicure.

Don’t let yesterday take up too much of today.

Day 8: Electronica

Wowzer! This is a bright and bold Barbie neon pink with a slight hint of coral, which you can see has gathered at the top of the bottle. This shade screams ‘summer’ to me, it’s one that you would find yourself reaching for during festival season.

Why fit in, when you were born to stand out.

Day 9: Prima ballerina

This is another holo loose glitter, much like Day 6, but this time it’s a beautiful pink with flecks of blue. This would look great dusted over so many different shades of nail polish – aside from the obvious pink – I’m thinking that silvers and muted tones would be a dream.

Life does not have to be perfect to be beautiful.

Day 10: Brocade parade

This nail polish mixes luscious lilac with classic black and white, it contains multi-stranded glitter, which can be layered up depending on how much texture you like! Either way, it would totally jazz up Day 4’s nail polish. So pretty.

Have big dreams, you will grow into them.

Day 11: Members only

This is a shade of nail polish that I’ve never owned but feel that I should have. It is a pretty peach shade that is quite sheer but contains a subtle amount of shimmer, which glistens wonderfully in certain lights. It’s a sophisticated shade with a playful edge.

I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner.
