There are so many things that we have to be thankful for: friends, family, jobs and even pets but it’s so easy to get wrapped up in our busy lives and take the people that we see every day for granted.
World Kindness Day (13th Nov) acts as a reminder to pause, count our blessings, and do something nice for someone else. Even if you don’t realise it, opportunities for random acts of kindness are all around us.
To help you to celebrate this special day, I wanted to share the Random Act of Kindness Generator created by the Shari’s Berries.
You simply choose a category, and the generator will provide a simple act that you can do to help someone else. I literally spent hours playing around on this neat little application!
I have taken the first five suggestions that I was presented with on the generator to help to spread the smiles today:
- Run an errand for someone ♥
- Make someone a playlist ♥
- Leave flowers on someone’s doorstep ♥
- Email an inspiring journalist or blogger to thank them for making a difference ♥
- Send an encouraging letter to someone who needs it ♥
The generator has over fifty different ideas, so there are enough to perform random acts of kindness all month long – and beyond!
