So…? Fragrances have been producing unique and ultra-feminine scents since the 90’s, now they’re multi-award winners and have spread their fragrances to more than 30 countries in 5 different continents!
As a regular user of So…? Fragrances (I always have a can of “Kiss Me” close by), you can imagine my delight when they announced the launch of a brand new Couture collection.
I always felt that the So…? Attitude range was targeted towards a younger demographic, marketed as having a scent to suit every girls attitude, whereas the Couture range is one that beauty enthusiasts of any age can get on board with!
There are four new Couture fragrances: London, New York City, Paris and Rio – just choose the city that matches your style and complete your look with a mist of the corresponding body spray or a spritz of the eau de toilette!
I started dreaming about the locations, and after consulting the So…? Couture boards on the brands website to explore the different scents, I settled on trying out the So…? Paris body spray* and So…? Rio eau de toilette*.
The So…? Paris fragrance transported me to a quaint cafe in the centre of a stylish city with the smell of coffee and freshly baked goodness filling the air, undoubtedly I’m wearing a style reminiscent of classic Audrey Hepburn…
I love the So…? body sprays, I often receive compliments on the fragrance, as if I’m wearing an eau de toilette. They really do pack a real punch in the scent department and So…? Paris is no different!
I was initially attracted to this fragrance because of the various notes, which made me think of a sophisticated scent that would be suitable for every day wear. There’s something comforting and relaxing about this scent, the florals really come through with the vanilla offering a delightful sweetness… Mmm.
I was particularly impressed with the how long the fragrance lasted, so whilst you’re running your errands across the city, you can rest assured that you’ll smell fresh all day long!
The So…? Rio fragrance transported me to a golden sandy beach lined with palm trees and the salt infused waves lapping against the shore, the warm sun beating down upon my bikini dressed body while sporting my favourite pair of sunglasses…
One of the main attractions to this particular fragrance was the range of scents that are featured, especially the pineapple, which I know is one of the leading notes in the So…? Kiss Me fragrance. I felt that the base notes of amber, vanilla and musk would help to lock in the tropical, fruity scents.
I was slightly concerned that the fragrance might be a little bit over-powering, so I was pleased to find that the scent is just the right strength with mostly grapefruit (perhaps because of the fusion of fruits and florals) and vanilla resonating with me, literally Summer in a bottle!
Rio is a city known for its vibrant and lively carnivals, the fragrance resembles this atmosphere, as it’s fun and bold – one that I would definitely pack in my suitcase next time I take a trip to a sun-filled destination!
I would recommend both fragrances, as they were both beautiful in different ways and suitable for various occasions, I know that I’ll be repurchasing them myself in the future. I think that one of the benefits of having the fragrances available as a body spray and an eau de toilette is that you can apply the latter in the morning but carry the portable body spray can in your handbag to top up your scent throughout the day!
The So…? Fragrances are available at affordable prices with the 50ml eau de toilette having an RRP of £9.99 and the body sprays with an RRP of £1.99, if you’re lucky you may find them even cheaper! Boots are currently running a promotion for half price selected So…? Fragrances, including some from the new couture collection, and Superdrug have a whole section dedicated to the brand!

Ooh do you have favourite scents in the Bath & Body Works? I’ve heard that they have A LOT of choice, I might be heading over to the US this year, so hope to check the range out!
I quite like trying different fragrances, So…? are really good for that because they’re inexpensive, so even if there’s one that I’m not as keen on, it’s not too much of a loss. It also makes them great for everyday use!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog again! 🙂

I have never heard of So fragrances. Based on your description I think I would like Rio since I like anything beachy.

Rio just reminded me of the beach, it’s really hard to describe that scent but it’s perfect for summer. It’s nice and gentle too, I actually found the body spray to have a stronger scent overall, so I might try the Rio body spray next!
