Who’s That Girl?

Ooh did you do a film-related degree too?

I can understand that, watching for the purpose of study was never quite as enjoyable and it’s hard to get out of that mindset once you’re in it but film will always be one of my biggest passions. ๐Ÿ™‚

I did a degree in film and television ๐Ÿ™‚

For me, I think it’s because I watched too many films in that period of my degree that I’m now very picky with films. I only watch something if I really want to, and I don’t bother giving other films a shot, not even for the sake of filling up time.

Thanks so much for the compliment. I decided to make my identity “The Girl in Glasses” because I actually postponed getting glasses for quite a while, despite needing them, but since getting them I haven’t looked back.

I’m going to check your blog out now, so nice to meet new people on WordPress! ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh my, I love your blog so far! It’s so cute and definitely shows your personality. I’ve been wearing classic small black framed glasses since I was in the second grade and recently made a change to bigger frames, and I swear people had trouble recognizing me. The glasses became a part of me, so I feel you. I’m fairly new to blogging, so I hope to develop a blog like yours. If you get a chance, please look at my blog! Thanks and I can’t wait to read more from you!

Thank you so much for your kind words, they are really very encouraging!

Exactly right, glasses are as much a part of your face as any other feature, that’s the reason that I chose that to be my identity here. I had some concerns when I had to get glasses but now I love them and I hope to share some beauty tips, tutorials and looks specifically for GIRLS IN GLASSES! ๐Ÿ˜‰

If those are your new spectacles in your photo then I LOVE them, they really suit you and the larger frames are great, there’s something kind of retro about them. I’m going to check out your blog!

Thanks for such a lovely comment Karen!

I don’t know what my life would be like without Disney, it’s like a whole other level of obsession. Great to have another GiGlett on board! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I tried to access your blog but it says “OOPS! THAT PAGE CANโ€™T BE FOUND”, would you mind sharing a direct link?

It is very weird, unless we were both mistaken, sometimes it’s hard to keep track! Or, perhaps, it was the ghost of that bear playing with a few things in the blogosphere….!! ๐Ÿ˜›

Adele, your blog is a blog of eclectic taste, and one that offers variety… the universal spice. And in spite of all your fascinating interest you decided to follow my blogโ€”that’s a fairytale…for me. Thus, I just had to come over and say thank you. By following me, you have prevented me from bribing you with money I don’t have. That you have remained a follower (for 24 hours) suggest to meโ€”thank goodnessโ€”that you haven’t discovered your mistake, yet! So, and with all sincerity, thank you Adele (with an extra e) for joining my other misguided followers in supporting, if not the silliest blog your likely to come across, then certainly the only blog too absurd to exist. I’m delighted! :O)

Don’t mention it, I love discovering new blogs through our not-so-little blogging community and yours certainly offers something that I haven’t come across before. I look forward to seeing your posts pop up in the reader. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, our community is rather bloated isn’t it? And my blog does seem to border on the bizarre, which navigates adjacent to the absurd, but thankfully is thousands of miles from edge of insanity. The fact that you are looking forward to more of my posts popping up gives me hope that one day, I’ll be Freshly Pressed. Which should be great news to my agent, who wishes I’d dress better, and my tailor, who wishes I’d buy wash and wear clothes!
